The EU funded project “Support to Free Legal Professions and the Bar Association” is looking for a part-time Deputy Team Leader from September 2017 until September 2019, which will be located in our regional offices in Pristina, Kosovo.

The project, which is implemented by B&S Europe S.A, KLSC, Facilita onlus, Fondazione Italian del Notariato and Deloitte Kosovo, overall aims at strengthening the judiciary by strengthening the Free Legal Professions and the Bar Association

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Project Team Leader in daily project management tasks, including:

• Team management and administration of the daily project services;
• Take full responsibility of delivering for specific project activities/ sub-components;
• Assist on the executing and monitoring of different project activities;
• Manage changes to scope, cost and schedule of project work;
• Coordinatethe priorities and resources, e.g. deliverables, mission reports, important documents, project plans, etc.;
• Assist on the preparation and the update of project plans and project reports;
• Coordinate with the project team responsible for documents preparation, scanning, indexing and document storage;
• Assist on the maintenance and update of the TL & STE’s products/deliverables to ensure high quality and timely delivery of outputs;
• coordinate and cooperate with different donors and key stakeholders;
• Research and expand our network of local partners and experts;
• Participate in the development of creative and efficient project management;
• Implementspecific project activities/tasks and deliver project outputs

Qualifications and profile:

• University degree in Law or other related field (a Master´s degree would be considered an asset);
• Excellent communication and reporting skills;
• Fluency in written and spoken Albanian and English. Knowledge of Serbian would be an advantage.
• Full computer literacy. Knowledge of database management desirable
• At least 10 years of general professional experience in legal matters;
• At least 5 years of specific professional experience in legislative drafting, delivering trainings/ToT or support to free legal professions;
• Experience in providing technical assistance, implementing studies or conducting research in the area of Rule of Law in Kosovo;
• Experience in working for a self-regulating body of a legal profession and/or as a lawyer, mediator, notary, bankruptcy administrator or enforcement agent would be an asset.
